like it. The single line of 2 snowshoes from the 1 person would have been more compelling without the distracting second line up in the left corner. I'd either have framed it differently during shoot or cloned the second line out.

like the composition but would like it more without the non-desat walkway, i.e., all black and white with a higher key

No cameras (or upper extremities) were harmed in the taking of this photo! Oven was cold. Camera, wearing its fisheye lens, was set to 10 sec timer. Then it was placed in back of oven and the door was shut. The "hot" coils are thanks to PS; selected them and changed the dark gray to orange/red. It did taste very good, Lo ;]

lovely. I would have probably crossed too, in-part since my estate planning is up to date.

good shot and good composition/format. I like that the animal in foreground is about to leave the frame...as if it is ready to get out of sight and engage prey

Peaceful and inviting. Mighty nice on a January day with a major snowstorm currently blowing through my neck of the woods

nice looking panno. Chicago tourism board may want a copy of this for promotions.

sunrises and sunsets usually don't much interest me given their sheer volume and status as hackneyed. But in this case, the softness and color as a whole works for me

I like the pp pushed saturation here - almost expressionistic painting

This is a great shot. I have no idea where it was taken, but it seems like it could be right out of Frank's "The Americans" or several other 20th century documentation portfolios. While I agree with the sentiments of your title, I would either have left this untitled or kept the title to the purely descriptive. Sometimes the picture tells the whole story. Still, nice going!

Like the position of the bird"s neck and head. Frontal or side of the head would be just another bird shot, ho hum.

thank you all for the comments. Based on some of the responses I thought that I might add a little. I purposefully did not title this or offer other info. I hoped that each would interpret this shot individually, without a title or other info -a bias that I did not want to introduce. FYI, I hung the medal on a fence that surrounds a high voltage power plant and set of transformers/towers/wires. The crosses that you see are merely utility poles (out of focus so you'd not readily discern those). Happy shooting!

lot I don't like about the angle of shot, balance and presentation of subject. But, I take this to be your overall point with regard to the subject. My interpretation.

BW the only choice here! Composition wonderfully impacted by the geometry (lines, squares, rectangles, and curves)
