The facial expression and eyes are so well-done, I can forgive the blown highlights. This seems to have been a situation with difficult lighting. In my favs.

The expression you managed to capture here is just wonderful! Cropping in to show head and shoulders really made his expression stand out nicely. I feel as though I might have a conversation with him. The lighting was just right to allow balanced exposure to the face and eyes. Nice job here.

I appreciate your cloning out distracting artifacts in the background. I would like to offer a small tip on cloning. Try to avoid repeatable patterns. I notice a capital A several times in the leaves. I have had similar outcomes but it can be avoided by cloning smaller areas with less pronounced patterning. It take a bit more time but will create less places for the eye to be drawn.

Fantastic expression in this fellow's eyes, and a great angle for the shot. It's too bad that he is over exposed, as rich colour in his fur would have really made thismuch stronger.

great shot. interesting how we want to see human emotions in the gaze of a wild animal (i still don't want to encounter one of these without a big zoo type barrier between us).
not sure yet where this is going in my voting. i did 'save image' and worked with it with faststone. i felt it was a little over exposed so tried backing off on 'high lights' slider. made for a warmer shot. just my thoughts.

The look you've captured is just priceless. I would like to see a bit more saturation and less exposure to bring out all the colors.

Lovely expression - really! A little too overexposed maybe or maybe selectively lighten the background to go high key.
