Extra Info:
Fond memories of playing with whatever was at hand in the backyard, good to see the tradition continues. Water is endlessly fascinating.
I have treated the image to resemble the Kodak insta-matic prints of my childhood.

Very good composition but I wish it was not so blurred - I hope your Instamatic pictures were a bit sharper than this :-) Despite the blur the background is distracting. Water just has to be one of the best memories in all it's forms. Good choice.

This is lovely. The blur nicely distracts from the mess in the background and draws attention to the girl and the grass. I also creates a dreamy radiation.

a little to much blurring but not difficult with an instamatic. mainly because the lens was small with a wide aperture
like the overall concept

Just a nice picture! I can imagine what the young girl must be thinking as she watches the water spattering on the ground. You did a nice job setting up the "Kodak Moment" feeling by blurring the edges. Good job!

It's true - give a child a watering can and a plot of ground and they can play happily for hours. How did we ever put up with those prints? - guess we didn't have much choice!

My granddother does the same thing. Suits well to the topic, good work with the PP. In my favorites.
