That really does look cold! The warmth of the fallen leaves really make a great contrast to the icy blue water.

There is a lot to like about this image for me. Beautiful colors, and I love the remnants of fall leaves and the new ice on the rocks. One season handing off to the next. The painterly affect hints of Van Gogh. Excellent !

The composition, colour, natural element, lighting, this is a wonderfully fresh photo. (Left this alone before gushing, but really, I have the confidence to say this is among the finest photographs of this style that I have seen - it evokes the work of some great painters yet does it in a wholly photographic style; it is like a painting without trying to be like a painting, it is a wonderfully artistic photograph.)

I like the saturation, but isn't it a bit too sharp? Anyway, a good picture for the theme! Good luck!
