Jade, I suppose sometimes I just go with my instincts which is what this represents. I will confess I didnít believe that it would place well, just that I liked it and hoped it would find a few people like myself. It is with much appreciation that people like yourself have been kind enough to comment favorably on it.

Your instincts were right! I don't know if I would have had the vision to see this or the guts to submit it! Congratulations!

I was trying for raindrops so I have to vote for this great shot. B&W was a good choice too.

I so very much appreciate the comments. Itís difficult sometimes when you capture an image to be certain if you have something worthwhile or not.

I really find this photograph beautiful, with its shadows and ripples. It seems to take me back to memories of warm summer rains.

I like the natural pattern of the wet surface. One of my favorites.

Wonderfully abstract, I think I'm looking at deckboards with a railing reflected in the wet. There is a wonderful design element here and a nice pattern. Bordering but not quite achieving greatness, it will still make my top ten.

Thanks for looking! I guess when it rains you need to find something out of the wet. Shot this through the glass door.

Gotta go TT just because it proves that there are shots everywhere. The decking in your back yard?

I see three types of patterns: the decking, the shadows of the pergola(?) above; and the raindrop patterns.
