I pass this group of trees on the way home. The way they are grouped together reminds of a family.

Thanks for all the comments. The trees grew close to a raised sidewalk. So, to see the base of the trees would require standing on the sidewalk. At that distance the composition suffered. Then, at a distance sufficient to show more of the upper parts of the trees, I felt the closeness of the tree trunks was lost. Ahh, decisions, decisions!

I feel a bit cheated by not being able to see more of the tree. However I do like the concept.

An interesting crop which nicely brings attention to the subject. Not sure that there is anything I would change in presenting this subject as you have here though I might try cropping a little on the left and top to move the trunk more off centre.

might be cropped or shot too close. would like to have seen the base of the trees included. but neat shot anyway. el
