Thanks ever so much for your comments and observations. The purple tinges were not intentional - just part of the sun's rays.

Very nice, i n my favorites, but I would have cropped a bit more from the left side.

the bright sun kills the effect
a tight crop with the road width as the base line lowering your camera to include the figure and just a few beams of light

    Beautiful mood captured!

I wish the figure were just a bit closer but you did well to capture the scene as is. The glare of the sun makes it just that much better. The road provides the required parallel lines which leads to quite a low vanishing point. Nicely done.

wonderful mood created here. Don't care for the color temp alterations.

IMO, The sun as bright as it is, wouldn't work in most pictures, but it does in this one. In my TT.

Interesting VP concept and nicely composed with a sense of meaning and purpose but the image looks a little too soft for my taste (there is also a reddish tinge on the right road track which suggests the sun is compromising the colour.

You have a good capture here, however some additional post processing would have helped here. You brought the shadows out which is good, but in the process lost some depth and sharpness. Also, I'm not sure why the right path has a slightly purple hue and the left not, I'm not sure if that was intentional.

Top spot. The photo is on theme, may not be perfect in technique but it evokes a lot of emotion.

The photo adds very good dimension to the theme itself. Not just the road vanishes but the dusk vanishes in the same point and brings out infinite radiance. The purple fringing hue is unwelcome in the shot though.
