Extra Info:
Looking down this elliptical stairwell at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago has the potential to evoke the fear of climbing stairs as well as the fear of heights.

Sorry - no way a lens can make a winner - it's all yours! Congratulations - perfect composition.

Thanks to all who voted and commented. I am deeply appreciative to all. Again, much of the credit goes to the 7-14mm Lumix lens. It will make anyone a winner.

I think this photo is stunning and as a vertigo sufferer it certainly does it to me! I like the way the B&W is enhanced by the gold railing and red blob at the base.

I thought this was distorted using post-processing until I read the extra info. What an extraordinary find! You have captured it well. I'm surprised there is so much in focus using an f-stop of 4. In my favs.

A very striking image, though its intriguing design distracts me from the feeling of fear of stairs or heights. A favorite nonetheless.

Excellent representation of the phobia. Composition taken to new heights :-) High in my picks.

To me, this is just a beautifully designed stairway, but I can imagine how terrifying it would be from someone suffering from vertigo. Love the composition - what a great find.

a very striking image with the splash of red drawing the eye to the bottom.

The red object is a part of a mobile and the bottom is a pond filled with koi.

Very neat shot! Great composition. The spot of red at the bottom of the stairs is interesting. Zooming in it looks like it might be an umbrella and it looks like a fish pond at the bottom. Is that right? Anyway, my #1 favorite.
