Levels; increased shadows, decreased highlights, increased contrast; curves; filter-unsharp mask; converted to black and white.       Extra Info: A pillar depicting (from bottom to top) the unity of religion with the Hebraic Star of David, the Christian Cross, the Islamic Star and Crescent, and the Bahia’s Nine-pointed Star. Beneath the Star of David is a symbol used by Hindus, and Buddhists, which takes the form of a swastika.

Aug 20, 2018		     Wow! Never thought I'd do this well in such a complex challenge. Thanks for all the votes and constructive comments. BTW - the image is a small part of the Baha'i temple on the North Shore of Chicago. The temple is magnificent and it is hard not to take a competitive image.

Aug 19, 2018		     This does well in both a religious and architectural theme. Well exposed, my sense is that the shot is not balanced but I see it is when I measure carefully. I expect the effect is the result of the light wall on the left and shadowed wall on the right.This is a very nice shot.
