Love the contrast between color and shape of the flower petals. and the duller colors and different shape of the leaves.

SteveBee Actually these were glowing OOC. I took several shots of these two and they are all glowing. I went back to look at the originals to make sure. Did normal adjustments in camera raw.

Beautifully composed and shot. Especially like the reflected flower in the water.

You might be interested in the website for the Latour-Marliac gardens (http://latour-marliac.com/en/) in southwest France, In the 1870s, Latour-Marliac was the first to figure out how to hybridize the colorful tropical varieties with the white-only European type, so that flowers like your beautiful example could be grown in harsher climates. He supplied plants to Monet for Giverny, and the nursery still has Monet's purchase order on display.

I shot several of these 2 flowers and they all had that glowing quality. I will post the original raw if possible after voting.

I love the way the reflection is partly hidden by the leaf. Nice colours and sharpness

striking composition and color, but I think that I would have not added so much brightness to the flowers.

Gorgeous. Would love to hear about your PP and how you achieved this creamy finish. Very high in my TT, probably #1.

Eye catching interpretation. Looks like you decreased contrast/saturation and darkened the lily pads while increasing same on the blossoms to create the 'glowing' effect.
