    Thanks for your comments. The surrounding space was cropped out due to distracting skylights. He had turned away from the forge at this point to talk to a friend.

    Great - portrait - like how the overall redness implies the fire of the forge. Might like a bit sharper focus.

    I love the exposure and the expression on the face. Beautiful catch lights in the eyes. The only thing that I think is missing is a bit of context such as a tool or fire to show that he really is a blacksmith. In my tt.

    I like the crop, it catches your attention. His expression is difficult to interpretate.

    i like the composition and the expressive subject, and the angled lighting.
I think it would have benefited from a bit more sharpness, but 1/60 second and iso 3200 has presumably had an impact. Could you have tried a wider aperture?

    Interesting face. Focus is soft. I miss some environmental context.

    Great expression on the man's face. There is a bit of motion blur which is distracting. Nice warm colors.
