Good distribution of light and dark, eye-catching

Lots of deep shadows and lots of highlights... I suspect this is a result of the time of day... somewhere around midday? The subject has lots of detail but isn't particularly interesting...

Fascinating pieces of machinery well photographed, sharp focus good lighting and shadows. IMO a T10 contender.

An interesting study of textures, materials and light

Like the contrast of the round and linear shapes. Maybe a bit overexposed in the highlights.

The verticals look off, though I guess they are not. A great subject but something isn't working for me here.

for me, i have trouble getting good shots of rusted machinery in full sunlight. i found that either shooting from further back to get some more of the surroundings in there works well and often zoom in on a particularly interesting part like a cog or sprocket or bolts. just my thoughts.
good shot for the challenge.

I like the subject, and that is an interesting angle of shot.
I think there might be almost too much in the picture though - did you try any alternative compositions? maybe get in closer on just a couple of the items?
the right foreground highlights area bit bright (on my monitor) but otherwise tones and textures are interesting

I always wonder at the value of scrapped material dumped "out the back"
i would have taken a step back to try and isolate the scrap from the building and taken from a higher point of view
