Post-Processing: Crop, reduced brightness and increased contrast slightly and sharpened.       Extra Info: It is a local tradition practised by young and old, to balance rocks on top of each other to make these ephemeral structures on a particular beach.

Certainly well on theme, and nicely composed. I find the colours a little faded, and wonder if a levels adjustment would bring them out.

love these. i have a similar shot with similar stones but in the high desert of southern utah. erosion leaves rocks of different composition from different strata. in some cultures where walking was the norm, individuals had their own stone that they would leave on a pile to let others know that they have traveled that direction... and remove it when they return. anyway, good shot for the challenge.

Like the contrasting colors in your capture. We all could probably get some balance in our lives at one time or another. Well done.

nice rich natural colours, would be nicer with one of the balanced objects in the foreground.

Composition in balance. Beautiful colors. Nr 1 in my favorites.

Nice idea, but I'd like to see some stronger contrast in the image.

The composition is fine, and the subject interesting... but there is very little shadows is add additional interest... probably a time of day thing, and the image doesn't look as sharp as it should be based on the shutter speed and available light...
