    That should be lighting!

Lovely lightning and what an amazing colour in the water.

I'm guessing you broke the rule about having the subject look into the photo on purpose. The result certainly gives a sense of loneliness if that is what you were aiming for.

Looks like a whale has been butchered just out of shot! I'm not fussed about the man facing the edge of the photo. I think it would have been better if he were more to the right. Were you standing on a pier? GL.

Interesting subject. Not sure the pp works. The colour is a bit unnatural, but maybe that was what you were going for, I am just not sure if it works. The fisherman is also a little small and due to the contrast very little detail is available.

The waves of colour against the sand are very striking. The figure needs to be more visible in order to be the focal point

To me, the figure is complimentary and secondary to the beautiful color palate of the beach water and sand. It would be less of a shot without the guy, but he is not the best aspect of the shot.

some may not like the atypical placement of your subject (lot's of fisherman pictures out there) and, OH NO, he's not even honoring the rule of thirds! I disagree. Nice choice for an to an otherwise hackneyed shot, now with high visual interest.

the fisherman is looking out of the picture and sand has unexplained foot prints . maybe a "flip" and remove the footprints

I love it, the diagonal, the colors, the mood.

I like everything except the fisher sliding out the lower left side of the frame. If you shifted him to the upper right side, I might have liked this even better.

I like the loneliness that this image conveys. The pastels are outstanding and the overall exposure is great. Well done, in my TT.
