    - Una: Thanks also for your nice comment and vote :-) You are totally right, the buildings are the uglyest part of our beach... They're the disafortunated result of the 70's, when the city growth literally out of control in the beach shore.
The good news are that there's a urbanisation plan about to start, that will more or less equalize the size of the buildings, and cover them with coloured glass to give a fresh and uniform look to the shore... we're all hoping the results will be nice :-)
- Mr. Sawyer: almost forgot, this is the main beach of my city, Gijón, in Asturias, the north of Spain.

Wow, how many nice comments, I'm very happy :-)

- Jade: glad you like it so much, thanks a lot :-) yep, you are right, the sky is a little noisier than the rest, I tried to control that more but resulted in too many white halos around the buildings, so decided to go with it this way... still have to experiment more with Photomatix to get better control of that.
- Alberto: Always a pleasure to receive such comments from you :-)
- Raf: The same, you all are getting me "blush!" (is that the word? :-) Photomatix has enhanced the greens, but these rocks are outstanding green themselves at this time of the year, a favourite subject in our beach. I'll try to post the original pics after voting, as Mrsawyer asked.
- Mrsawyer: the time... mmm, more or less, 5 mins. for the pics, I shooted in Manual (don't know why Exif says Program) keeping aperture constant. For the PP, 1-1:30 hours, tried many Photomatix configurations to get this one (I'm still newbie with it) and then spend also time in Photoshop... thanks a lot for your comment and vote, I'll try to submit the originals after voting.
-Slieb: thanks a lot also to you for such nice comment :-)

Interesting! The sky is menacing, the houses (ugly) add a good contrast to the scenery beach. If you just look at the beach, you can imagine palm trees instead of the multi-storing buildings. In my TF. Good luck! :-)

Perfect shot for HDR, the colors are so nice and warm and that sky is just great.

I'm new to the idea of HDR and did not enter an entry because I didn't have time to figure out the process. Where is this beach? You certainly captured it well. I'm curious as to how much time this took, from 1st photo to saving the final edit? I hope you (and others) will post your original photos in the forum when the voting ends. You've got my vote. Good luck!

Glorious picture. I really love the tones and colours here. Is the green on the rocks real or has the processing enhanced it lots. It is the least appealing aspect of an otherwise terrific picture TT for sure.

    Perfect subject for HDRI!
I like it!(composition colors etc etc...)

This is one of several amazingly beautiful images. A quality shot beautifully rendered. If I had to pick at anything it would be the clouds which look to have more grain/noise than the rest of the image.
