Thank you for all the nice comments. This was done with zero preparation, I wish I had spent more time to take a better picture.

Circular, colorful streaks against a white background make a pleasing entry. In my favs.

I think this is a case where simplicity works beautifully. The centred composition and the balance of colours works perfectly.

The simplicity of this image makes it elegant. I love the subtle colors. Pefect example of motion blur. Why not put the camera on a tripod with remote shutter release and then only work the fan?

Good effect on the white background.

The whirligigs in Main are also yours, true? Looking at the colors seem so at least... nice ideas both, why I didn't thought about my childhood too... ;-)

Simple yet effective, nice movement rendering. And got a nice laugh imagining the shoot scene :D
Top ten for me, well done :)

Such a simple idea is so effective!

Lovely colours and sense of motion. I feel like the crop was too tight slightly, as not all of the points are within the frame.

At least you had a fan and didn't need to keep blowing at it yourself!

Beautiful capture of the rotational blur. You did a great job holding that steady enough to get the stick and centre sharp. You did a great job of making the pinwheel too. Great choice of colours for a pretty result. In my faves.

Like the idea, but the white background overwhelms the colors, which are already lightened by the motion blur. Consider a dark background, or maybe reversing the image to negative.

I don't know why I don't like this more, but somehow it looks too flat to me.
