Entry 4 of 19
Town of Ramsgate Pub, Wapping, London       ©2016 mazarak
Panasonic DMC-G6       4th place, 96 points
25s, f22, ISO 400, 28mm, Aperture Priority, Pattern, no flash
Post-Processing: PP in Lightroom: B&W preset and then various edits and tweaks including perspective, exposure, light and shadow, noise reduction etc. A small distraction was cloned out on the pavement.       Extra Info: This pub is in Wapping, backing on to the River Thames in the docklands area of East London, a few minutes walk from my home. The pub is named after a ship - The Town of Ramsgate - that was in turn named after a town in Kent.

lovely shades of gray and an unusual perspective, which I especially like

Don't think F22 and 25second exposure was necessary here, think F8 would have been plenty or even F5. I think the noise and noise reduction would have been avoided with better exposure. That been said I like the composition and lighting.

Really well photographed - the detail is tremendous. The star filter adds a nice touch

This feels like a still from a film. That is testament to your good composition and great subject. Love that line of starburst streetlights.

Love this photo. Did you try cropping it to the window and street? The lower foreground takes my eye away from the lights.

Interesting view. Suits to the topic. In my favorites.

I like the image. It is well done. I feel that the noisy reduction is a bit heavy, which has removed some detail. The bright cluster of starburst in the doorway is a bit distracting, but overall your starburst is good and effective. In My TT.

Love this shots, lots of sparkle. Very well shot at night. The electrical box right in the lower center is distracting, but still very high in my TT. Would also love to see the color version.

I like the mood and the realistic sparkles. The best examples are the street lights. Perhaps these should have been the main focus of the image.

Nicely composed to show the sparkle both inside and out. The scene might be more appealing with a few people gathered outside, especially if they could hide the over-prominent electrical box and cables.
