I appreciate your comments guys. I agree I should've focused on the foreground.

I find the blurred foreground distracting because it is so dominant (large). Nice idea though.

Looks like someone has bent an arm or two.

I like the choice of "tool", the selective DOF, and the composition. Nice job!

I don't really like the foreground keys being out of focus. Maybe have the foreground keys in focus and the background blurred, or all in focus?

Great idea, but I find that my eye is drawn too much to the blurred keys in the foreground. I think it might have been better if the raised keys had been at the back.

Nice try. I would have preferred a somewhat closer focus. GL.

Brilliant idea to have the keys jammed upright in the foreground. Can't say I like the white blur on the right though. High in my picks. Well done.

It's an interesting shot. I'm a little bothered that the raised typewriter hammers prominent in the foreground are out of focus. I might have made those the focal point and let the far keys go out. Or it might be OK for them to be out of focus if not raised up.

I like the idea but I think it would have been more effective if the foreground keys were in focus as well. Perhaps the background keys could be out of focus.

The blurred foreground spoils this for me.

Nice concept but too much foreground blur for my taste. How about with just one of the keys blurred, but in motion?
