I find this framing so natural and yet so completely representative of the topic that is was an easy No 1 pick for me.

Thanks, all, for your compliments and critique, though it's hard not to take spectacular photos in a place like this. (See my earlier comment below.) I'll try to put some others in the outtakes in the next few days.

See, you should enter more often! I knew this was too good not to win this Challenge by a wide margin. Congratulations on a photo anyone would be proud to call their own.

I like the little people in the corner providing context. Wow! Good focus, lighting and framing.

stunning scene. Seems like needs to be warmed up ever so slightly (blueish tint?).

This is magnificent photograph, congratulations on the capture and also for just being there. Excellent work. As for being 'Edgy' I have no idea, not your fault either way, just my lack of knowledge of the subject)

Very impressive. I love the ridge tops highlighted against the cloud. Even more impressed that you were there to take it!

I gave it a second look and I ranked this one higher. Very interesting shot and the placement of those hikers is perfect.

Beautiful shot. You could made a few Edgy
pics from this one. IMO toning down the bright spots on the right side of the two bottom mountains might be less distracting.

The crop is fantastic. I really adds to the sense of height to the image. Beautiful shot.

This is my stand out photo. Apart from being an excellent photo technically the eye is drawn to the figures in the bottom corner. I love it!

Amazing image. The hikers in the lower left, the mountains along the left edge, and the mountain range in the distance at the top of the frame all take advantage of the edge of the frame to great effect. One of the best examples in this challenge.

I'd love to say how I had to juggle my camera with my ice axe and carabiners to get this picture, but in truth - like 1000 or so others that morning - I rode up in the gondola and took the shot from comfortably behind a stout railing on the paved observation deck. The people in the picture, though, really were out there on the edge.
