    Beautifully taken, with perfect detail. Kudos for thinking outside the box.

    The direct flash lights the image but also flattens it for me. Technical shots like this are tough but a lightbox (or approximation of one with diffuse light coming from all angles) might really help to bring the elements out.

    The skewed view helps to make a mundane subject more interesting, especially since the wires follow the diagonal so well. The monochrome treatment is also appropriate here. However ...

"... Somewhere you would normally walk, ride or drive..." is what the challenge description says. So, I don't think this photo qualifies.
