#200 Black and White
Created by davemisunas
Hosted by A.N.Other
For this challenge, show us your finest Black and White photos (technically, black, shades of grey, and white). It has been two years since we last explored this photographic technique, so again, let's try to see the world in black and white. You may shoot in Black and White, or convert in post-processing. Colors can take attention away from the visual building blocks of a great photo; texture, tonal contrast, shape, form and lighting. A photographer shooting in monochrome should learn how to use all these elements to create a memorable image. Understand that not all subjects are suitable for monochrome, so experiment! Please, no sepia, nor other tones other than shades of grey. Enjoy the challenge! As usual of late, post-processing will be hidden during voting.
Voting extended due to Mother's Day!

Challenge ended on 15 May 2018.
