aoc: My apologies - somehow I missed your photos. They are beautiful - makes me want to visit the area. Thanks for sharing them. My fav is the last one with the slight mist.

Major congrats Elliot. The silver lining in this is that you are now acutely aware of the danger and will be keeping ahead of the game with regular checkups. You won't be one of those who keep denying the symptoms until it's too late. Years from now you are going to be a healthy, vibrant person just like ysal. What a fantastic Christmas present for your family.

For the rest of us the silver lining is that we are still going to be seeing your fantastic photos from Arches and elsewhere.

Mepo, mbbin2, and (belatedly) mrsawyer -
Many thanks for your compliments! For several years, my wife and I have had the good fortune to spend our summers in this picturesque little village. Incidentally, when MSL, Alis Nocturnis and I all are in residence, tiny Saint-Martin-de-Vers likely can boast the world's largest geographic concentration of Panachallengers!

What wonderful news Elliott - I'm so happy for you and your family. You and Ysal are tremendous role models for us all, and proof that cancer can be beaten. I can't imagine a better gift to receive.

AOC46 - like many, I missed your photos, so thanks to Elliott for re-opening the thread. Your village is so beautiful - If only I could win the Lottery and become a resident Panachallenger.
