    Congratulations Billy, great shot!
Phew! About no chance to catch up with you and Alberto in the stats anymore... :-(
But I will keep on trying - for sure :-D
Oh, it would be so easy, if I only didn't have to make beautiful pictures for that...
LOL!!!

Hi dear friends!!! whoa, I'm very happy and really surprised, considering the superb quality of the entries in this challenge!!! really many thanks for such nice comments :-)

It's late and I'm very tired today (job has even increased!) so I'm sorry for not being able to take the time to thank you personally today, along with sending my congrats to all of you. Hope tomorrow I'll arrive home a bit earlier to leave some comments :-)

Many, many thanks again!!! Hugs from Spain! :-)

A fine, clear interesting shot. In my top 5 and worthy of the win in a tough field! Congratulations.

That no. 1 vote there for your entry is mine! ouch! one point! I knew I should have made this my no. 3 pick!!! Really, Billy, this is truly the best shot in my book and a well deserved win among some really fine entries! I love reptiles and especially ones with great personality! Perfect caption, too!

Well done Billy - Vacationing sure agrees with you - I remember a First place shot that you took in the airport.

Congratulations Billy. You have reclaimed your spot on top of the podium :-) When you said you would show me some holiday pics I was hoping for something a lot smoother (and better looking) LOL LOL

So is this guy in the Canary Islands or did you take it when you got back home. Perfect composition and focus. Love the humour too. Like this better than the feather coated lady.

I like what you've done with the eye in pp. The composition is great. Great title too.

Very cool shot! Reminds me of an old Godzilla movie - a very old one, LOL!
Great focus point, very nice sharpness. It looks as if he is waving to you to say "Hi! Gimme 5".

Nice close up, like the light in the eye and the position of the left hand, in my top 5.

Funny, sharp, well composed, killer eye, despite the colour/lighting being a little flat handled well for a direct sun high contrast shot, easily my no. 1. (I think it is that out of focus foreground which takes up fully 45% of the frame that bothers me most. I would have taken a second shot of that in focus or failing that, darkened the blurred rock foreground in PP to help move attention away from the brightly lit rock.)
