A wonderful sweep of solitude in the dying hours of the day. I like the positioning of the surfer which draws your eye toward the long expanse of beach ahead of him. Great colours and reflections.

Just a gorgeous shot. I love how the sky is reflected in the wet sand, and the way the waterline angles across the frame, complimenting the direction the surfer is walking. If I get really, really nitpicky, the little black clouds at the top of the frame are a tiny bit distracting, and I would probably have cloned them out, but it's a very small quibble. Easily my favourite entry in the challenge.

I like this one - perhaps some flash might have elevated the surfer from shadow. Although not sure if that would make that much difference. I like this. End of a long day, time to go home.

Well exposed and nicely executed. IMHO the horizon seems to slope left to right and I would have fixed this. Also might have made the figure and reflection slightly bigger. I do not think it would have taken away from the solitude. Nonetheless this is a great image and high in my favs.

Oh, nice! Beautiful scenery with a lone surfer. Right on theme. Love the reflection on the wet sand.

Beautiful and says "solitude". A touch more light on the water??
