beautiful lighting , focus, color. Good leading lines.

Thanks' to all that made the effort to comment, it is always appreciated. I made multiple trips here to get the lighting right.... late afternoon or bright sun light did not work, to many harsh shadows and difference between light and dark... this was taken on an overcast morning which softened and evened out the lighting. What looks like the end of the tracks before they drop downhill is a busy street so timing was everything... many shot taken with cars going by (cant see them coming) had a few with people and one with a lady walking a dog down the tracks which seemed to add something to the image but the rest seemed out of balance or lighting was off.

Right on theme. Interesting how the rails drop over the edge and leave one to wonder what is over the hill. Having a train or a person in the photo might be preferred by some but I like it the way it is. It's good to let the viewer use their imagination. Just my point of view. I like the tranquility and the lighting helps wrap up the naturalness.

Nice curves and colors. In my favorites.

It's actually hard to imagine that these tracks are used at all. The greenery all seems to encroach a little closely. It's a beautiful place though, and invites me to wander along those tracks (hopefully not when one of the rare trains comes along!) In my top 5.

The colour is wonderfully rich and the tracks re a perfect path into the photo. Love the detail

This proves some of the most basic shots can be great ones. The colours compliment each other so well.

great lines here with the rusting tops denoting poor or little use

Nicely lit scene, with classic LLs. Like the detail in the fallen leaves and how the track emerges into the sunlight.

Despite the railroad tracks this image has a pastoral feel. It is a classic use of the leading line and perfectly exposed, composed and focused. Well done.

    Love the tunnel effect
